Should students have a part-time job or not ?

No one can deny that passing the entrance exam is really an important turning point in our life. We will be fully equipped background knowledge as foundation for the future. But there is a question without sensible answer for students in university is that “Should students take a part-time job or not?” . Many people suppose that the main duty of students is studying so they do not need to do anything else. In my opinion, I personal think that they can take a part-time job with some following reason.
First at all, part-time job is very useful and helpful. Being a good employee, students not only master wide knowledge in books, but also have ability to apply their awareness in practically life. It means that learning and practicing go together. So students can take a part-time job concerning with their major to put theory into practice, and in return their experiences will make them know better what they learned in classes and books. Moreover, after graduating they need to have some experiences for future. If they have good experiences, they will have good opportunity to get job to earn much money. For example, if your major is teaching, tutor is suitable for your career. You spend only 6 hours a week but can learn how to transmit information clearly and attractively or how to create a feeling relax for pupils.
Part-time job makes students more confident in themselves as well. To be succeeded, out of school with higher diploma is not enough, they must express their confidence and stuff. Part-time job will helps them not be shy when standing in front of lots people. Thanks to practicing day by day they are becoming more and more active and diligent. Therefore, the result in work will be improved. Student’s lives more meaningful and colorful are another example. They are able to earn their own money, which gives them a feeling that they have become adults and so they feel more mature. With money earned, they can buy what they want without the help of parents such as interesting books, birthday present or clothes. It will go down the economic burden of their parents. However, many people request that students should concentrate on study instead of wasting the time on having a part-time job, but they also cannot deny that there are more chances for students to develop and finish their individual properties. Thus, students who have a part-time job are better than others in real life.
Part-time job only takes a little time but it can help some poor students do not depend on parents too much about finance. Also those can learn many basic and necessary skills after graduating university. In future perhaps there are some effective ways for them to be succeeded in society, now they should take a part-time job to widen the view of complicating life first.

a special day in my student life

Have you ever wondered how the life is without friends? Have you ever wondered how to make friends with another person politely? Have you ever wondered how you did to build a long lasting friendship? And have you ever ask yourself why you are so sad and disappointed when your friendship is broken down? Let answer these entire question at the moment. And I did. Now I find that friendship is really necessary and important in order to have a meaningful and useful life. So I always try to share and help my friends with the bottom of my heart. That is the reason a beautiful and pleasant friendship has already struck up with American four months ago.
Four months has passed but that day is still fresh in my mind. One day at 6p.m, after coming back dorm from study hard, I took a bath and sat down on a bench in front of my room to enjoy the beauty of sunset. In my eyes the sense was very wonderful. The sunset looked like a red globe on the horizon as if it was last sunshine of day. The cool winds glided past my shoulder lightly. In such fresh and quiet air of city at night, I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and started rethink what happened on day. It seemed that all the worries of life were taken away. I was in a relax feeling, suddenly the cell phone rang, which severed my thoughts. I could hear my friend’s urgent voice “Thuy, are you free? Come out the school gate quickly” and hung up immediately. Something wrong certainly had happened to her, I thought. So I ran as fast as possible to be with her. Just a minute later I stood in front of her with faster and faster breathing. But there was no problem. She just gave me a sweet smile and introduced her new friend, Esther who comes from American. In the first sight I misunderstood that she was Japanese with piggy eyes and petite body but did not. “Hi, nice to meet you” was the first words she said with a friendly smile. We soon became close friends although the time we met is not enough to understand each other well. Then, we decided to go to the supermarket. We walked along street hand in hand and shared a lot about our country and study. It was very joyful for us to go everywhere and try some products. Yet, there were some people around us had a strange look as we were speaking in English. After a while, we went to the second floor, took many photos and enjoyed the dinner together. From our bright eyes, I know that we were very happy as if we were close friends for a long time. At 9p.m we had to return but it was raining heavily. Without hesitating, we all ran out of the supermarket and danced like some little girls never saw raining. Ten minutes later we were as wet as a drowned rat in school gate. It is time to come back home, so we gave email and phone number to each other and said goodbye with great feeling.
Until now, I still keep in touch with her and we often recall our special memory and smile a lot. It seems to have miracles creating our friendship although we are different countries and languages. And I learn that “life without friendship is like the sky without sun,so never stop sharing and giving”. If you give, it means that you receive already.

A small landscape in my hometown

In the busy and modern life, the demand of traveling is very necessary. Most of us try to find out some famous places such as Da Lat city or Mui Ne to travel on holidays. To me, those trips both cost much money and make me uncomfortable. Although there are a lot of tourist attractions to visit in our country, I just really love a small landscape with a cool stream near my house because of scenes here.
Thanks to the beauty of nature, that stream is an ideal place to visit. To me, nowhere is as beautiful as here. First, you will be surprised because the water is so clean and cool that you can see the bottom of stream clearly. No fish, no dust is in. one more thing is the sound of flowing water is like a melody of nature, which seems to create an interesting sounds. Under the face of the waters, there are full of colorful and multiform stones as grey, brown, yellow blue or white. It looks like a starlit night in the sky. Therefore, it is very useful for the people who want to have a collection of stones. You can even give them to your friends as impress and meaningful souvenirs. Also, the atmosphere is very natural and real with many trees covering at all. If you have a look in the distance, this landscape looks like a stream encompassed by mountains. All these points create a vaporous space as though you are in the immortal world. Here is great enough to spend the days off with your friends. If I have more an opportunity to travel, I will always think of that stream first because I can enjoy the beauty of nature with joyful feeling.
Because of its atmosphere, the stream is always the best place for me to take away the worries of life and studying. At the shore I can lie on the green grass, close the eyes, breath slowly and enjoy the beauty of sky, some white and black clouds drifting and bobbing, the breeze of wind blowing through my hair quietly. Especially when I jump into the stream, it seems that there is an electric current running inside the body. So the fresh and cool air makes me easier to get rid of stress. No one can interrupt me do anything. I really love the time I spent on because of it was very relax and comfortable. When having sadness, everyone often find out somewhere they feel better to forget it. And I have already had one.
Nowadays, in spite of living far away from my hometown, I often return when having days off because there is a great place to spend my leisure time beside my home. In near future, perhaps I will not work at my hometown, but I am sure that I will come back to enjoy the beauty of landscapes there with the feeling of free and peaceful in my soul.

In the world, buses are really popular especially in some big and modem cities such as London or New York. Vietnamese are familiar with buses recent years like the good way to solve transportation problem. In fact, students are one of person who again lot of benefits from the bus , but it brings disadvantages as well
Transportation is always a difficult problem to students but with the development of scientific technology, bus system appears with its advantages. First, you can save money when riding the bus. The prices are cheaper than that of other transportation. Using ticket blocks for month is very convenient. For example, you just pay sixty three thousand for one ticket blocks but can go anywhere and anytime. That is good to poor students. Second, there are so many different routes to choose. They work most of corners of city, most days in year even some holiday. One typical example is that from our school gate to go Ben Thanh market, you can catch the six, fifty six or one hundred and fifty number. Also, it’s easy to find buses we need from website or the map. So you can make a picnic around the city without the worries of movement. The view is important as well. While sitting on the bus, you both sight seeing and read book or see what happen on the street. That makes you more relax. Because of above its advantages buses are becoming the first choose to students.
Beside these advantages, it brings some disadvantages. Taking time is the most important thing. Every 5 to 20 minutes, there is just only one bus working. So you have to wait long time to catch the expected bus. Moreover, in rush hours, it’s easily to stick in traffic. In some major streets such as Hang Xanh square, Xa Lo Ha Noi. It takes you about 1-2 hour to escape from the traffic jam. Another point is that the service is not as good as possible. Driver works with the lack of carefulness because they are both driving and talking or smoking. It causes some accidents which are dangerous to the people’s life. And the bus assistants are really rude, their attitude don’t respect for passenger such as talking some bad words, controlling the people in a hurry. Last but not least, a fewer pocket picker is often in the bus. They pick money, telephone or jewels. Perhaps these disadvantages don’t danger much but they always exist in our lives, so be careful to protect yourself.
Actually, the bus system is established as an achievement making human life become more easy and simple. Although having disadvantages, it gives us a few changes to choose. In near future, it can be improved to overcome difficulties to be more perfect and we use as an ideal mean.
